Job Description
- Provide technical support to internal teams and employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Set up and configure new devices, systems, and software applications.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, and networking equipment).
- Manage and maintain software licenses, user accounts, and access permissions.
- Ensure the company’s data security by monitoring and implementing best practices in IT security.
- Support IT projects, including system migrations, updates, and new technology implementation.
- Document IT processes, technical issues, and solutions to create a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist with training and educating employees on basic IT tools, software, and best practices.
- Provide after-hours support as needed for urgent issues or system maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS), office productivity software, and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting, server administration, and network configuration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to IT security standards.
