A DENR HWID is for entities generating hazardous waste, ensuring proper tracking, management, and compliance with environmental laws for safe disposal.

scope OF WORK - NEW

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONSULTANT
  •  Creation of Company Registration System (CRS) and Hazardous Waste
  • Monitoring System (HWMS) account if unavailable (See separate file for requirements)
  • Site visitation to assess the project
  • Generation and notarization of the affidavit
  • Prepare and Generate the Waste Management Plan, Contingency and Emergency Plan, Hazardous Waste Labels and Signs, Analysis of Wastes, and Official letter of Request
  • Consolidation of documents and information needed from the client
  • Consultation with regards their Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and the proper posting of the Hazardous waste signs and label
  • Generate Environmental Management Plan (EMP)

REQUIREMENTS - nEW

REQUIREMENT FROM PROPONENT
  • Copy of the Government ID of the Proponent
  • SEC or DTI certificates
  • CRS account and OPMS (If unavailable, see separate file for the requirements)
  • Copy of Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC), Permit to Operate, and Hazardous Waste Generator ID, Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Accreditation Certificate, whichever is applicable.
  • Copy of previous Hazardous Waste Generator ID (HWID), if applicable
  • Geotagged photos of Materials Recovery Facility (WTF)
  • Photos of the Hazardous wastes containers with proper signs and labels
  • Payment of HWID Application Fee
  • Payment of DP Discharge / Load Based Fee
  • Other that may be required by EMB Case Handler.
